Hand Made Chocolates

Kay, Flutes' Chocolatier, is a qualified pastry chef as well  as having trained as a chocolatier at the renowned Savour School in Melbourne. She takes great pride in producing delicious hand made chocolates using the finest Belgian chocolate with mouth watering fillings (see pictures below). She is always looking to develop new flavours and products.In August 2011 Kay was one of the Chocolatiers who took part in the inaugural New Zealand Chocolate Festival in Wellington. September saw her returning to Savour School in Melbourne to learn more about Macarons. No doubt a new range will soon be appearing on this website!

A choice of different fillings:

Fruit and Nut Fudge:
Decadent white chocolate fudge with fruit and nuts encased in milk chocolate, feathered with white and milk chocolate.
  Mocha Ganache Mocha Ganache:
Rich dark chocolate, Irish cream and coffee centre wrapped in milk chocolate.
Hazelnut Caramel Hazelnut Caramel:
A smooth creamy caramel and hazelnut filling inside a milk chocolate shell.
  Almond Praline Almond Praline:
Crushed praline combined with milk chocolate and dipped into dark chocolate.
Creamy Coconut Creamy Coconut:
White chocolate, rum and coconut centre dipped in white chocolate and finished with toasted coconut.
  Dark Mint:
Freezing mint caramel centre dipped in dark chocolate.
Raspberry Caramel:
Luscious caramel made with Raspberry Fruit Puree and raspberry liqueur, piped into a rich dark chocolate shell.
  Strawberry Bomb Strawberry Bomb:
Sweet Sundried Strawberry, double dipped in creamy white chocolate and rolled in coconut.
Lemon Surprise

Lemon Surprise:
The sweetness of the creamy white chocolate cuts through the luscious tangy liquid Lemon filling in this decadent flavour combination.

  Lime Zinger :
Rich dark chocolate encases a wonderful intense liquid lime filling ...with a real zing!
Ginger Tang:
Fresh ginger candied in sugar syrup then combined with rich dark chocolate, finished with a copper sheen.
  Dark Velvet Strawberry
Succulent sun-dried strawberry encased in a rich red velvet dark chocolate strawberry shell
Brazil Nut Crunch:
Caramelized Brazil nut dipped in milk or dark chocolate
  Macadamia Delish :
Roasted Macadamia nut caramelized  and then dipped in milk or dark chocolate
Cranberry and Coconut Fudge
Cranberry and Coconut Fudge:
Milk chocolate fudge with plump Cranberries and Coconut thread, dipped in milk chocolate and finished with airbrushed design.
  Tangerine Dream :
Fruity oranges combined with a delicious buttery milk chocolate caramel, then dipped in milk or dark chocolate
         

Chocolate Shard Infusions:
We take the finest Belgian dark,milk, and white chocolate and infuse it with a variety of different flavours

Chilli Infusion: Rich,dark chocolate infused with Northland grown Chillies
Star Anise Infusion: Whole star anise infused into rich dark chocolate
Cafe Latte: Creamy White Chocolate infused with roasted coffee beans
Cinnamon Infusion: Whole cinnamon sticks infused into velvet smooth milk chocolate
